We can scan and transfer your 35mm or 126-format slides to a digital medium (DVD or USB) at resolutions of 1000 dpi, 2000 dpi or 4000 dpi. The cost per slide is 35¢ for 1000 dpi, 49¢ for 2000 dpi and 99¢ for 4000 dpi.
Before dropping off your slides to our
photo transfer services team, please go through them and eliminate any you do not want scanned. Your color slides are scanned to TIFF format using Digital ICE technology, which greatly reduces visible dust and spots, and rotated to the correct orientation. Black and white slides are not corrected for dust. Final deliverable will be converted to JPEG unless otherwise specified when they are dropped off.
You will receive a RAW scan plus a computer enhanced version at no additional cost. Manual enhancements are available at extra cost.
Also, we scan full frame, so, when viewed on television, you see the entire frame, regardless of the film orientation. Furthermore, if you have a special event, we can create movies & slideshows for it. The cost depends on the amount of slides included.
